Now a days, it’s a normal matter that iphone’s screen goes Frozen. Occasionally, you can get a frozen iphone screen, an iphone black screen or a frozen iphone screen with apple logo. Why my iphone is frozen?:
Before proceeding to the solutions, you should know the Factors which are responsible for a frozen iphone, to avoid future hassles.The programs of an iphone can be categorized into two category, either as Application or as Widget. Applications generally refer to Safari, Mail, ipod, phone etc while Widgets refer to the items contain Text, Settings etc. on the Home screen. In general, Widgets are more simpler, single smaller function programs than Applications which are comparatively complicated with features.
So, when any of these Widgets or Applications stops working, the iphone more accurately the software got ‘Frozen’ or ‘Crashed’.
Then your favorite iphone starts to disobey your commands, becomes totally unresponsive to your finger taps, even nothing happens in spite of pressing external buttons. To Restart your iphone first turn the device off by pushing and holding the Sleep/Wake button which is next to the SIM card tray, at the top of the iphone. Push and hold it until a Red slider with a white arrow appears on the screen refers to the words “slide to power off”. Then move the slider with your finger to Power Off your phone. Wait for a while, then again press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears on the screen. This will hopefully work for fixing frozen and unresponsive iphone’s screen for maximum cases.
Closing a frozen app: After restarting the iphone if the matter doesn’t solve then try this method. A/some iphone apps can be responsible for the frozen state. To close down such unresponsive apps, hold down the Home button for six to eight seconds. This will close down the unresponsive applications. Don’t worry, you’ll be able to back to the application you were using without restarting the phone again. Though better you restart the device again.
Reset the iphone: At this point, still you don’t get any fruitful result yet, try again by Resetting the device. Press the Home button and Sleep/Wake button together, then Hold them for about few seconds like 10-12. You may again see a red “Power off” slider like Restarting stage during holding the buttons but hold it till the Apple logo appears indicating a successful reset.
This isn’t like RESTORING the iphone for which all the information will go away. It’s just disconnecting the power and forced rebooting. Hopefully this will be enough done to fix the problem. Yet having problem? Let’s try this: Reset ting all the settings.
Go to, Settings-->General-->reset-->reset all settings.
After performing all these if there is no progress, you have to Restore your iphone.
Restoring the iphone:
# Firstly make backup of your iphone’s necessary data by connecting your device with your computer.
# Then press Home and Power button together. Hold them pressed more than 6 seconds.
# During pressing the Home button, Hold the power button for more than Ten seconds and iTunes will come up and connect to the iphone.
# Then make a quick ‘Restore’ as there is a chance of the iphone being locked again.
After restoring, you’ll be able to get your valuable data back.
